A gutted First Baptist Church sanctuary and adjacent buildings in downtown Gulfport, Miss., on August 30, 2005, the morning after Hurricane Katrina struck the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The buildings were demolished at the church built new facilities on Hwy. 605, north of Interstate 10, on property purchased after the storm.
