Treasure Bay Casino barge on U. S. 90 in Biloxi, Miss., on August 30, 2005, the morning after Hurricane Katrina struck the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, all gambling for Treasure Bay was housed on the barge. Following the storm, the Mississippi legislature changed the law, allowing gaming devices to be housed within 800 feet of the water.
